Marion Benjamin was born in Oakland, Maine in 1881, attended grade school and high school in Cleveland, and studied architecture at Cornell University, Class of 1906. She never practiced professionally, although she did design the home in which she lived in Washington, D.C. after her marriage to Charles G. Woodbury.
